The showcase season has practically come to a close, with the likes of PlayStation, XBOX, and the all-encompassing Summer Game Fest all having had their times in the spotlight. However, there’s still one big name left, and that’s Nintendo, with today’s Direct bound to stir the pot even more.

We haven’t had a feature-length Nintendo Direct since September last year, and it’s been a few years since one has run for around 50 minutes. As you’d imagine, it’s got fans incredibly hyped for the event, as we wait to see what Nintendo has planned for the second half of the year—and beyond.
That said, the next few months are already looking jam-packed with games, especially the months of September and February, as games look to avoid the GTA 6 November release like the plague. Will Nintendo follow suit and continue to fill an already rammed calendar? We’re about to find out.
