Doom: The Dark Ages DLC Sees the Hell Freeze Over

id Software presented a brand-new trailer for the Doom: The Dark Ages Revelations DLC and, towards the end, provided players with a release date. It arrives this Summer, on July 7, 2026. The DLC seems to feature a whole bunch of story content, with players being thrown into the abyss. The trailer also featured some brand-new weapons and enemies, the Shield Saw was back in action, and a whole bunch more. Check out the trailer below.

For those unaware, Doom: The Dark Ages is a prequel to DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal. The title follows a brand-new story set in the early days of the DOOM Slayer. As the super weapon of gods and kings, players will be using weapons like the Super Shotgun and Shield Saw. The game also makes players travel a variety of realms, which include environments like ruined castles, epic battlefields, dark forests, ancient hellscapes, and worlds beyond.
