Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Templar Hunt Sidequest Bug Can Waste Your Progress
Spotted by StephenTotilo on BlueSky (via TheGamer), a progress-wiping bug is prevalent in one of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced’s sidequests. Totilo’s post warns players not to leave Templar Hunt sidequest chains unfinished, as doing so caused a glitch that cost him 5 hours of progress.
After completing several Templar Hunt quests in Kingston, he decided to explore another region of the game. Eventually, he returned to Kingston to start a main story mission, but he discovered that the side quest and the main mission were blocking each other, which prevented him from making any further progress.

Totilo reports that Ubisoft has acknowledged the bug and said it will be fixed in an upcoming update. However, no timeline for this update has been revealed to him. So for now, either players can avoid the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Templar Hunt sidequests entirely to avoid the glitch, or finish them before progressing to anything else.
